The location was really perfect. I could walk everywhere. The staff was very helpful, and their friendliness impressed me. Cleanliness was good overall.
The noise level bothered me. Apartments faced Blair Street, and Cowgate, two noisy streets. I heard noise all evening.

prime locationspacious bathroomfunctional kitchen
The location is just superb, right on south bridge, providing excellent bus connections right outside the door. two grocery stores are close. food options abound, and the royal mile is just a short walk away. the one bedroom apartment had a well-laid-out design, ideal for up to three people. It featured a spacious bathroom and a kitchen with a stove top, microwave, and fridge.
i found a small detail worth noting, the door lock sometimes needed a few tries before it opened, so i had to re-enter the code a couple of times.

Solid Stay in the Heart of It All!

door codesapartment cleanlinessexcellent locationsoundproofing issue
The codes for the door worked flawlessly. The apartment was undeniably clean, which I really appreciated after a long day of exploring. The location couldn't be beat. Bus stops were directly in front of the main door, and a grocery store sat right next door.
Soundproofing was a real issue. It made it difficult to get a restful night's sleep, as the street outside was quite noisy.
Rooms
9/10
The apartment offered ample space and included a functional kitchen, complete with all necessary equipment, like cookware and utensils, for preparing meals. The bed was large and comfortable, ensuring a restful sleep after a busy day.
Dining
8/10
While the hotel does not have an on-site restaurant, the presence of a complete basic kitchen made self-catering easy, and many restaurants and convenience stores nearby offered diverse culinary options. This made dining very flexible.
Facilities
9/10
The hotel provided useful facilities, including reliable Wi-Fi, a television, and a functional heating system. The easy access using door codes added to the convenience, awesome for a seamless experience.

Central Location and Well-Equipped Apartment

central locationequipped kitchensoundproof windows
The location is central, a short walk from the Royal Mile. The apartment is well-equipped with a kitchen and a sofa. Windows are soundproofed, which I found excellent considering it is on a busy street. I also used the lockers on the bottom floor for my luggage on the day of departure (very handy!).
I found the water in the shower only stayed hot for a few minutes. The hot water did not last long.
Facilities
9/10
The hotel features large lockers available on the bottom floor, useful for storing luggage upon arrival or after checkout. A functional kitchen equipped with basic cooking necessities allowed me to prepare simple meals. Complimentary coffee was also provided, a nice touch for the mornings.
Location
10/10
The hotel is ideally located to explore the city. It's a short walk from the Royal Mile and close to services and restaurants. A bus station is nearby. This makes transportation very convenient (easy to get around!).
Rooms
9/10
The apartment features real-wood floors, doors, and furniture adding character. The bathroom is nice and spacious and it comes with a shower. The sofa opens to a comfortable bed. It could sleep up to four people.
